*Born in October 1975 in the lovely city of Bozen, Südtirol, Italy, Ben Santo grew up behind the drums playing loudest Rock Music from age 11. He straight went into professional performances at age 13 covering a wide range of musical styles from indie to jazz.
His first djing experiences where inspired by industrial crossover, drum&bass and big beats that saw Ben Santo already playing at parties in Vienna and heading officially the Snakeboard World Championship 1995 at the lake of Garda (I).
He became a house addicted DJ at early age 16 and started developing the combination of his prominent Djing skills with his rockin live beats on the percussions and drums. Through this he was able to gain immediate success and fame throughout northern Italy and Austria.
With moving to the city of Munich in 2001 to complete his medical studies Ben Santo quickly became one of the most sought after DJ and live performer in the area. His main residency and musical management of the much acclaimed underground house club "The Barysphaer" lead him to further residencies at internationally renouned house venues such as the legendary 8Seasons and a 4 years lasting thursday residency at world famous Pacha Munich.
Ben Santo teamed up with mates Yves Murasca and BK Duke forming the Munich house label Diamondhouse Records. With Yves Murasca again he hosted the weekly house radio show on Novaradio for several years.
After his master degree in medicine 2010 Ben Santo started his medical formation as anesthesiologist and critical care specialist in Munich. He though never gave up music heading countless events, festivals and parties all over Europe peaked by playing a thrilling end of skiing season festival at Ischgl, Austria, alongside with Robbie Williams in front of 25.000 enthusiasts. But beside the much traveling you could still catch him up as monthly resident at Munich art Club CALL ME DRELLA if you're lucky ;)
